Academic Learning to Standards and Beyond!

University of California-Berkeley graduate in individual major titled "Diplomacies to End the Division of Europe-1949-1990." Tutored English to German students in Germany, and returned to America to "give back". Specializing in one-on-one tutoring with resources and interactive activities found on the internet as well as worksheets on paper. One can be a good teacher, whose characteristics encompass good knowledge of the subject matter, understanding the needs of your students, and the ability to apply this knowledge to students' needs. However, an effective teacher does not only pass knowledge on to her students, but makes herself gradually unnecessary: her learners become independent learners as they progress through a course.
