My comments on tutoring American History : My teacher training focused on U.S./American History. I have tutored middle school students, Regents students and AP students in U.S. History.

Students being tutored one-on-one deserve lessons customized to their learning style. My sessions often incorporate some writing and topic discussion along with activities tailored to the student's interests, skill development needs and preferences.

My comments on tutoring American History : My college major was History, with a concentration in American History. I have tutored middle school students, Regents students and students in AP U.S. History.

I have a strong passion for working with kids and helping them succeed and progress academically. I stride on giving my students a sense of confidence in and out of the classroom. I have worked with kids out of the classroom as a camp counselor, as well as a home tutor.
