A Little Bit About Me...

I have an Associate Degree in Mathematics from Porterville College. GPA of 3.8. Working towards Computer Engineering Major at California State University Bakersfield.I have tutor some of my fellow friends from my Calculus and Physics class. I want to be a tutor because it is my passion to teach students. I have taken Pre-Calculus, Calculus 1, 2, 3, and 4, Physics 1 (Mechanics) and Physics 2 (Electromagnetism). I have mastered all these classes with an A+.
I want to help my students break down what they might think is a complicated subject, into incredibly simple digestible segments, and hopefully have some fun with the subject along the way.

A Little Bit About Me...

Through my education at UCLA, I developed a solid foundation in math and science, while completing my BS in Bioengineering. Additionally, I have well developed communication and grammar skills for an engineer due to several extracurricular activities, which required me to write time-sensitive documentation and reports. My tutoring experience comes from 2 years of volunteer work I did at Marina Del Rey Middle School.
My dominant teaching style is connecting with students on a personal level. My desire is not to simply communicate information to students, but to accommodate material in such a way so that each individual student can learn a way that is easy and hopefully enjoyable. Not every student enjoys learning every subject, but I believe that an accommodating and understanding teacher, willing to work hard in order to make learning simple and useful, can give the student the necessary motivation and confidence to learn any subject well.
