Down to Earth tutor more worried about the academics than $

Tutored (recommended by school) fellow classmates elementary though college and various friends and family. Was the type of student that would teach myself and help others that were behind. A Little Bit About Me...

I am currently in my third year of a bachelors of science in biology through the pre-medical track. I have a minor in physics as well as psychology. I work in the biomedical department in the Center for Neuroscience as a research investigator exploring the realm of rehabilitation and prosthetics with respect to stroke and traumatic spinal injuries. I was a Resident Assistant and Wellness Coordinator for a dormitory at WVU for three years, where I received a Resident Assistant of the Year Award. I currently teach four sections of general biology lab and two sections of comparative anatomy lab. I graduated from IUP with a degree in Biology Education. I am certified in Biology and Middle School Science. I taught for one semester at Central Bucks School District where I taught Academic Biology, Astronomy and Oceanography. I then taught two years at Gateway School District where I taught 8th grade physical science. I now have a permanent position at Yough School District where I teach 7th grade Life Science. I am also currently pursuing my Masters in Education.
The purpose of my teaching is to allow every student to succeed. I will try any way possible to reach this goal for every child.
