This decision was due to the Police Department recruiting me to teach various computer classes to police officers. I have taught various beginning and advanced computer classes, Algebra II, and business math. I have also tutored students who have failed high school math classes. I love teaching and have wanted to be a teacher from a very young age. Each student is different in how they learn the material needed for class and I find it to be very important to teach the student in the method that works best for them. I communicate very easily with students, I am very patient, and I above all care about the student. While pursuing my BA accounting and BA in business finance at Wilmington College, I was very involved in tutoring other students at the college. At Wilmington College, we had supplemental instruction which is basically a group tutoring session where the leader is chosen by the professor teaching the course.
