I elected to be a stay at home mom after a successful career. I wanted a flexible work schedule and thought about tutoring. I found that I loved tutoring students ranging from elementary to college level. I found much satisfaction in students' improved grades and the mastery of the subject that I was able to impart. We led large volunteer groups sometime of more than 100 people, in local park and forest restoration event, and also led youth groups on 10 day restoration and hiking trips in the national forest.
