While in graduate school at the University of Connecticut, I was a teaching assistant for a chemical engineering course on polymers as well as freshman chemistry. Both teaching assignments included: grading homework/test papers and providing office hours for students to visit me and go over problem solving. The chemistry class required me to actually be the teacher for 30 students each semester.
