I believe that students do not learn the same way. My teaching style incorporates all learning styles. When teaching a lesson I believe in using secondary reading sources, technology, video clip and other creative outlets. I have just graduated high school, and have just finished thirteen years of learning. I have ADD, and have had a semester's worth of interning at the Specialized Language Development Center, working with kids who struggle with reading, writing, and comprehension. Kids brought to the center are usually dyslexic, ADD/ADHD, or have some type of learning disability, however, those without disabilities come for help too, ranging from kindergarden all the way to college level students.

My experience with tutoring began in high school, when I started assisting elementary students with homework through one of my clubs. Throughout the two years I was involved, I regularly helped 6 students, along with 6 students that I met with irregularly. I have seen through substituting that there are many children who need extra attention to help them understand a certain subject.
