A Little Bit About Me...

My style of teaching really depends on the student and his/her learning style. Different students learn in different ways. I believe it is my responsibility to find which style works best for the student(s).
First teaching job was in a school for severely autistic children. After being there for a year I taught in a residential home for boys. This was challenging but probably one of my favorite jobs as a teacher. Because of the distance from home to work (about 1-1/2 hrs.), I applied at an urban school 20 minutes from my home. My first job there was managing the Young Parents Program. This was a program for high school girls who were pregnant or had already had a child. A Little Bit About Me...

I have worked with teenagers, young adults and older students returning to college. I work especially well with students who have a lack of confidence about their academic or intellectual abilities. May students have told me years after taking my courses that they would not have made it to graduation without my help. I also served as a drama director at one of my colleges and produced 4 highly successful full-length plays. Any subject that i am qualified for i do my very best to help student succeed n achieve there goals and pass the subjects that they are having the most difficulty with.
My teaching style is different. I like to teach students in a way that they will understand it. Every student learns differently. I work at the pace that fits there need and teach at there pace. There is no rush.
