Online tutor - Physics

My online tuition is based in modern e-learning tools, like Powerpoint presentations, Interactive Physics simulations, on line tests, virtual labs, videos etc.
I teach Physics since 1993. I have a private tuition center of my own in Athens (Greece) and started teaching online in 2009. My experience has to do with over 40000 teaching hours of all levels, containing IB courses, GCSE etc. Apart from teaching, I am an author (articles on Physics) in a well known scientific Greek magazine. As an undergraduate at Slippery Rock University, I was approached by my adviser and chair-person in Physics to tutor their physics classes. I accepted their offer and within the two years of tutoring physics I enjoyed helping fellow students learn and understand the concepts of physics. Also, while helping others I could use the knowledge I have learned in previous classes and gain a better understanding of the field of physics. A Little Bit About Me...

I have experience teaching many types of students. I worked one-on-one, daily, with an autistic student during my last position, so I understand that not every student learns in the same way. I think it works well to give shorter lessons to a small group, and then work individually with the students. I like to encourage them to help one another if they feel confident in the subject. I pay great attention to verifying that each student is following the lesson. My main teaching style is "I do, you do," meaning I show them how to do a problem, or spell a word, and then they show me how. I like to work with the parent and child on any goals they have for the year, while updating the parent and child on progress, problems, and behavior.
