My comments on tutoring Drama : I began acting while in high school and have multiple stage credits to my name, both in school and community productions. Most of my experience with musical theater (I have voice training as well) and comedy, but I can offer assistance with all forms of drama and acting (line memorization and delivery, stage instruction, stage presence, etc...).

I have a degree in English and Creative Writing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and have two years experience writing for the Daily Tar Heel. I have also completed internships with the local NPR station, WUNC, and with the organization AGRADU (Advocates for Grassroots Development in Uganda). I am highly organized, responsible, and driven, and am very personable. I work well with children and young adults; I am the oldest of five children and during high school and college, I worked as a dance teacher and nanny. I'm currently working on publishing my first novel.

I have danced since the age of five. From the age of fifteen until the start of my college career I competed nationally in jazz and tap dance. . I also worked professionally as a dancer for Theatre West Virginia. Since completing my Dance degree from UNC-Greensboro I have concentrated primarily on modern dance techniques, yoga, choreography, and performance.

I recently graduated the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a BS in elementary education. I student taught at Morehead Elementary school in kindergarten with Jeanelle Lindsay. In my undergraduate program I earned a BA in English and spent time working as a writer and Sports Editor for my college newspaper, worked as an intern at a newspaper, and worked in Public Relations as Communications Manager for a nonprofit organization.

During this opportunity I was responsible for grading the daily work of our students, as well as being a resource for the students design projects.
