A Little Bit About Me...

I worked for six years at William King Museum, where I developed and taught art curriculum to students Pre-K through 12 and trained instructive staff in our 12 programs. I served as a traveling classroom instructor in our 14 district service area where my presentations consisted of one-half hour of historical/cultural content and one hour of hands-on art. I utilized my knowledge of literature to enhance various art projects. I have worked with young children on their reading skills and in understanding themes in literature. I am competent in grammar and composition. As you may gather from my first undergraduate degree in English literature, I enjoy the written word and am familiar with both American and English literature.

A Little Bit About Me...

While an undergraduate student at a top university, I pushed myself academically. I also focused on trying to help people by teaching resume writing and job interviewing workshops at my university’s Career Development office. Helping fellow students further their careers was very satisfying and inspiring. Upon graduation, I counseled, trained, and equipped American and foreign college-level and graduate students for a non-profit. Later, in graduate school, I worked in Student Affairs, holding workshops, hosting social events, resourcing students and managing print projects.
