The method of teaching I prefer is maieutic, i.e., one which draws knowledge from the student, rather than attempts to place it in him/her from without. To me, the process of asking questions and allowing the student's curiosity and intelligence to reach conclusions is far more effective than one-sided lecturing.
I am endlessly creative, coming up with myriad examples to illustrate concepts. In 2006 I taught graphic design topics at Westwood College.
