Statement of Teaching Philosophy for Teaching Writing I think that teaching writing should be both fun and educational. If you do not have the fun aspect in it you can lose students and not reach others. I believe it is important to be a positive model for my students. I want my students to know that what they write can be perfected and publishable. I want them to know that they never have to feel as if they are not good enough even if they do not know exactly how to get the words they want to say out. All it takes is practice. Even using a voice recorder to record your thoughts and getting feedback on those thoughts can make writing the best it can be. I, personally, have never taught a class. My comments on tutoring Writing : I teach students how to brainstorm ideas, and organize and edit their writing.

My career as a teacher has taught me the importance of extending learning beyond the classroom. A Little Bit About Me...

Teaching is something that has always come natural to me. Whether its giving golf lessons out at the local country club, or teaching my younger siblings math and chemistry. It is something that I enjoy and I will persist until results are shown. My teaching style is to first observe, then diagnose flaws and work from there.
