A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style comes from 15 years of teaching Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and being a Youth Group Leader as well. I have also been a server trainer at my current job at Cracker Barrel for 9 years. I am a very patient person and I treat others with respect. I love to help others learn and I explain things thoroughly which is the way that I tend to learn. I like to come up with demonstrations such as notecards or Powerpoint where the material can be seen and not just heard. What tools I use in the classroom really depends on the student's learning style and course material. Some individuals learn by performing tasks, while others learn by reading or hearing the material to be learned. I use a variety of methods depending on the course such as: PowerPoint, Internet, Lectures, Whiteboard, Student Presentations, and individuals within the community to discuss their current views on health care and their roles in Medical Billing/Coding.
