Lawyer Turned Homeschooling Mom Can Make Learning Fun!

I have a law degree, but most of my experience comes from working with my own kids and spending hundreds of hours volunteering at their schools helping other children. I home schooled my children for 3 years for the middle school years and so I have experience motivating the surly teen who has no motivation to work as well as the young child that just wants to play. I also taught my children and many others how to read at very young ages and have perfected the technique for teaching children math and reading who love to move. One of my children had ADD and so I know how to work well with this issue. I also have a technique for teaching multiplication and math to very young children. I have been tutoring for the past 10 years before and after school both privately and group settings. I am a public school teacher now and would like to tutor after school for the 2013-2014 school year. I usually get a student in first grade and the student keeps working with me until third or fourth grade. I use a hands on approach and am especially good with LD and Add students.
