Special Education is one of my top subjects! I have worked with students of all ages and all types of disabilities, and have used different strategies to meet each student's personal needs.

From my experience, I have realized that students learn faster and retain the information they learned longer if a tactile, hands-on approach is used. Currently, I teach K-5 students, and no matter what I'm teaching, I try to turn it into an educational game where the students are up and moving and having fun while learning. Each one exceeded my expectations and learned far more than anyone could have imagined. I truly believe in finding the style of learning that suits each student, and pursuing that particular route. And I have found that you can include each learning style by using a tactile approach. It is extremely simple to add in visual and auditory components within hands-on activities. My comments on tutoring Special Education : I work as a special education teacher in a K-2 autism setting. However, I have previously co-taught and worked as a resource special education teacher for 3-8th grade students.

I have several years of experience working in the field of education. My primary role has been as a K-8 special education teacher. I have worked in various capacities in this position, including co-teaching middle school English, providing resource support to first-grade students, and serving as a K-2 autism teacher. In addition to my classroom experience, I have tutored several clients with ADHD/ADD and specific learning disabilities in reading, math, and study skills.
