A Little Bit About Me...

There have been numerous studies showing that different types of learning exist, and it is my belief that each individual student needs to be taught through adaptive teaching methodologies. I believe that everyone is unique, and each student needs to develop their own style of learning. It is the job of the educator to discover those different styles and implement a teaching method that is most advantageous to the student.
Having earned a bachelor's degree in Theology and Apologetics with superior academic achievement,I have challenged myself academically, and developed excellent writing and argumentative skills. I have written extensive research papers, and successfully defeated many opponents in classroom debate. I served as a tutor for Homeland Park Elementary for one year during my college career.

As a Strayer University graduate, I was determined to achieve the goal I had set for my life in Accounting. I have to admit it was very challenging for me because I was returning to school, after being out for 30 years, so I could enhance my education It's better to complete your education when you're younger, so I encourage any child to do so. When I started school, my intention was to achieve an Associate degree, but after I obtained it, I decided to go for the Bachelor degree. I only tutored and mentored some of my peers at school. A Little Bit About Me...

I worked at Elohim Center tutoring the kids at an after school homework center in Hartsville, SC. I also worked at Hartsville School of Performing Arts for a short time period. However I provided assistance to the teachers and mentored the children that had potential, but didn't have the extra push in life to motivate them to be more. I worked at Billie Hardee Home for Boys in Darlington, SC as a volunteer I provided teen age boys the assistance in tutoring them with math, reading, and science. I have earned a BA in Criminology and an Associates in Sociology. During that time, I have taught philosophy, logic (including test prep for the GRE and LSAT), and composition. A chemistry minor in college, I am also proficient in basic science and mathematics.
