I have found through my teaching that there is a motto that works very well in most situations. "Teach in such a way that it is impossible to not understand" basically if one can teach a complex subject in such a way that even a child can understand it then you are successful as a teacher. But with physics that is not always possible. It is all about the person learning not for me to hear myself talk and get through a lesson. All that matters in the end is what the student learned coming out of the the instruction.
I spent 2 years in mexico teaching in spanish. During some of that time i was the teacher for english classes. I graduate this december with my bachelors in physics, experience of working with classmates and helping other students as they helped me gave me years of experience working as a team on homework assignments.

I enjoy watching students grasp the scientific method as it is something that comes naturally to most people if put in the right context. Science is rewarding to teach because it incorporates other disciplines like math. I often receive comments about my effective teaching style. I believe this is because of my education and that teaching science is a passion for me and a lifetime pursuit. I have noticed that people understand science better when it is related to their life. In other words, the student can apply a scientific concept in their own life.
