I have always loved being able to teach and instruct in areas that I am very familiar with. Working the past two years at Eastern Idaho Technical College with the students has enhanced this skill. I am able to identify with how people learn and absorb new information. Then I am able to adapt and teach them in a way that helps them to understand the material. I think that the foundation of tutoring starts from understanding how a person learns, and then being able to adapt, modify and tailor the information to them.

I have a love for children and for learning. I believe in being patient and encouraging children to learn. I have learned in my dealings with children that they respond better when they feel that I have a genuine interest in them. I have worked with children with Autism.
