I have a BS in Mechanical and Aerospace engineering from MIZZOU. I am very proficient in technical editing, critiquing papers and writing technical papers.
Hands on, Practice based, through step by step instruction. Visual learning whenever applicable. Geometry, algebra, physics, and some calculus are in my range of teaching. I am very patient as long as the student is trying to learn and cares about the work. Mental support of students is half the battle.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have been working with preschool to high school age students since 2004. I have always had tutoring positions, whether it was for my peers in college, volunteering for the Salvation Army, or running after school programs after graduating. I am a PA certified tutor, with conflict resolution, mentor, and CERT training (Community Emergency Rescue Team). It is important to me to have a profession where I feel that I am helping other people to progress in their lives. I genuinely care about the well being of each person I come into contact to and want to help in any way I can to make life easier, and more fulfilling for all of us.

I feel as if I have been preparing for this role my entire life. While still in high school, I became a peer tutor for grades K-12. I continued tutoring while attending Saint Vincent College, where I volunteered as a teacher for the Step-Up Program - I taught a literature class for home and cyber school students. For the past year, I've been a substitute teacher in many local school districts and have also completed some one-on-one tutoring in secondary level History and English.
