Learning's only effective if it's fun.

I have a goofy, hands-on style. I try to make it fun. I am very strict, however, when it comes to grammar, respect, and completing proposed tasks. Obviously I have different styles for adults and children. My lessons are always custom designed with the client in mind and age-appropriate. I have an arsenal of materials and activities which I constantly draw from. I aim for a balance between games of all sorts and drills/assessments. I have to be very flexible and creative while teaching, and I enjoy it very much.

They have both also medaled every year in their homeschool group's annual spelling bee, both winning 1st place in their different age groups for three consecutive years.
