I have always wanted to be a teacher and share my love and understanding of mathematics with everyone. In May of 2000, I was inducted into the National Mathematics Honor Society. I have taught high school math for eight years. The courses I taught ranged from basic Algebra 1 all the way to AP Calculus. Coming from a family of teachers and engineers, it was no surprise that I received a BS in Civil Engineering and pursued a career that would allow me to use my engineering degree and provide an avenue to teach.
