I am a certified teacher with over 17 years of teaching experience in Hampton Roads. I have had 100% SOL passing scores since 2008. With my IB training (International Baccalaureate) I have successfully engaged students into finding purpose in math. I attended Bethel High School and obtained my degree from Hampton University in 1996 with a Mathematics degree. Since then I have taught Middle School math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Trigonometry, College Algebra, GED, and have prepared students for their ACT, SAT, and ASVAB. A Little Bit About Me...

I went to a Magnet Middle School which taught me accerlated Math and Science. I then went on to take all Honors courses, and some Advanced Placement courses, in High school. I graduated with Honors with an Advanced Diploma. I am now a third year student at Old Dominion University where I am studying Elementary Education. I currently work as a Program Leader at the Children's Learning and Research Center on campus. My all time easiest and favorite subject is Math, but I am well versed in many other subjects.
I have been tutoring for about 5 years ranging in ages from elementary school to adults who are trying to further their education. I try my hardest to break things down to the simpliest form to better help students understand.
