Speaking is one of my top subjects! I have been a guest speaker at some conventions, and often do presentations for my company to the public. I know what makes a dynamic speech.

I work best one-on-one or in small groups, I can adjust my style to what a person needs after speaking with them for a while and understanding how they learn. I've found the best way to teach someone a new way of looking at something is to understand how they currently perceive it.
I have worked in art and graphic design professionally for the past 6 years, however I have been freelancing and creating art for myself since 1998. My comments on tutoring Speaking : Have been a radio disc jockey for two years of my life. Good at speaking to large audiences. Also wrote and published a book in 2012 and have done public speaking appearances related to that.

I like to involve the students in exercises instead of passively instruct. I prefer to relate lessons to things that are happening in real life, or issues that conjure significant emotion or stimulate debate. Good creative writing is all about the ability to transfer strong feelings from the writer to the reader. To make them feel what you feel or felt.
I taught Communications 101 to 20 "lifers" at San Quentin Prison as part of the Prison University Project. Some of these men had not been in a classroom in 20 years. I came back to the US and earned my degree in East Asian Studies at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.
