As a native of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, I am eager to see students of this area excel in their studies. Fortunately, I was able to grasp the subjects of Mathematics and Chemistry, and this has allowed me to enjoy a successful career as a Chemical Engineer. My degree in Psychology has a strong basis in Behavior Analysis. This is what I will be getting my Master’s degree in starting in the Fall. My teaching style mainly focuses on positive reinforcement. I use positive reinforcement in order to increase a behavior of choice. The behaviors we want to increase can range from working more math problems, reading more, increase doing home work, increase studying, etc. An instructional method will be used as well in order increase their knowledge of the subject and then positive reinforcement will increase their confidence and motivation which is necessary for success.
