I believe students will always be frustrated till they learn the material and if you make it interesting and related to them personally it tends to elivate the frustration and to feel more comfortable with the material. I am presently looking at obtaining my teaching certificate to teach elementary school at one point and time. My father's family is spanish so I speak a some. I am not fully fluent.
I have always had an interest in teaching. I graduated from college with my AA while working with the University of Michigan Department of Hospital Finance Training. From there I took some time off to finish my degrees. While going for my BA I worked with the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and was elected President of the Auxiliary and of the District. I have been involved in higher education since my 2nd year of college. I also have been involved in helping local elementary, junior high, and high school students in the areas of the sciences, computer technology, and math. I would have taught high school but I found higher ed to be more interesting. I have a BS in Biology with a minor in Computer Science. I also have a M.Ed. in Education Administration and Supervision with 17 graduate hours of Biology. As a college administrator, I have tutored many students in the areas listed above as well as worked with students on their writing skills.
