I am not young enough to know everything

I agree with the concept that each person learns a bit differently, and even more so that as a tutor, I should try and find the most effective style for my tutee. My academic career also taught me the importance of setting time limits for each action item; and switching tasks to keep the mind sharp.

My comments on tutoring Social Studies : I have been teaching elementary children for 8 years. Also, I have tutored Kindergarten through 8th grade students since 2010. Therefore, I have taught Social Studies to many levels of elementary students.

My comments on tutoring Social Studies : I have learned to teach across the curriculum. If you have good reading skills where nonfiction is concerned, you can understand social studies. I can help you do that.
