My goal is to to break the cycle of rote learning and show my students how a lesson can be applied to real-world knowledge. Understanding "why" helps students enjoy math or, at the very least, dislike it less. I believe Math is just like sports, music or dance: you need to practice to be proficient.

I learned great personal tutoring techniques and tutored a range of students from middle school to college. I have excellent math/stats background and can tutor anything from basic elementary classes to advanced college level math/stats classes.
I am a one on one mentor/role model/teacher that explains problems in a fashion to the students understanding. Math is often very hard for people to understand because they can't apply it to real world situations. I take the problems and teach the student how to see the problem in the easiest way for them.
