In my experience as a teacher, i have taught children as young as 4 to retired adults who wanted to play for a hobby. My passion to teach music is driven by the realization that musical ability, the enjoyment, and sense of accomplishment can last a lifetime. Music in itself becomes its own reward. I am sensitive to differing learning modalities and try to use a very kinesthetic approach to teach rhythm and as a teaching strategy for the physical movements required for playing various instruments.
