I have been teaching for 12 years. I began teaching after graduating from the University of Berkeley with a Bachelors in Sociology. I taught Reading, Math, and Social Studies as a regular education teacher until 2005. In 2005 I began to teach special education students, and this is currently where I teach. I have an Education Specialist credential and I have a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. In addition, I have VPSS certificates in Math and English. I use a comprehensive homeschool curriculum with progress monitoring reports, and my lessons are interactive and designed to meet the needs of each student.
