I am currently a Biology Major at the University of Southern Maine. I have completed my degree requirements for my BS, I’m finishing up by taking an additional 9 credits this semester before walking for graduation in the Spring, May 2011. Improving the lives of children has always been a passion of mine. I love to teach and develop new teaching styles. I believe that everyone can learn as long as someone is able to meet their needs. I remember what it was like being clueless in the classroom, and I use my experience in teaching myself how to learn in tutoring my students.
Before attending college I worked at an after-school program in Boston that served k-5 students. This program focused heavily on homework completion and educational activities.
