I enjoy teaching all age groups. I especially like working with High School students.Initially, they can be quite a challenge to work with, but once they are engaged they are fully immersed in the topic! I like to be creative and interactive! I was a difficult High School student so I can relate to many that get bored with some topics. I really like to use transactional teaching methods. I introduce a subject and have discussions about the material rather than strictly lecturing.I like to learn what the student can teach me after assigned a reading. I attended Heritage University for 3.5 years in pursuit of my Nursing degree. I have taken College math, written many college papers, and studied alot of science along the way. I also cordinated a mentor program through YVCC for almost two years. I have recently changed paths and with obtain my BA in criminal justice in less than a year.
