A Little Bit About Me...

I have taught English and Reading for over 30 years. I have currently employed as a GED Instructor for WWISCAA organization. I have taught middle school and secondary English and reading. I am also certified in curriculum and instruction and a virtual online facilitator. I graduated from college in 1979, but i have continued my education and have gotten 2 master's degrees. i am currently working on my PHD in curriculum and instruction. I have also done tutoring at my church and in my community and love helping people. I have tutored in language arts, reading, math, and social studies.
I believe in teaching to students they way they learn and working in small groups as well as large groups. I also believe in using technology and hands on activities. A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy working with children. I know all children can learn in one way. I was team leader in AmeriCorps. As I held the leadership position in AmeriCorps, I know I have the patience to help each and every child to succeed.
As an assistant teacher, I earned my AA in Elementary Education/ Early Childhood. I continued my education on and received my BA in Social Science in 2009 from Ashford University. I have learned how to teach a student through my experience in working with students.
