Writing is one of my top subjects! I love writing. It has proven to be one of my strong suits throughout my academic career.

I received a 34 on the reading section of the ACT and a 32 on the English section. I am graduating in May with a BS in Psychology at the University of Kentucky. I have had tutoring experiences with a wide range of ages, from middle school students to college students. I currently tutor college students and am hoping to expand my tutoring services.
I like to make learning an interactive process as I believe students are more likely to retain what they learn when they have an active role in their success of understanding the material. I have a B.A. in English and History from Marquette University in Miwaukee, Wisconsin. Pick out what's good and encourage that. It is too easy to focus on the negative. As a writer who understands rejection very well, it has humbled me. Another set of eyes always helps during the editing process. Sometimes a writer just needs to be set on the correct path, and they can do much of the rest from there. Being a parent has also taught me patience, which is something any teacher needs. Also, reading helps you become a better writer. I think when I was younger I didn't want to hear that as much, but it's true.
