I love teaching and seeing students understand.

I have taught Elementary Education in Ohio for 30 years. I taught GED for Garrard County for 10 years.I have always enjoyed working with students who do not understand their subjects, especially in Math. I will change the teaching to fit the student, if understanding is not happening. There is nothing like hearing a student say, "Now I understand, no one has ever shown me that learning can be fun!"
I prefer one-on-one and I teach phonics approach to reading.

A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy helping others understand statistical concepts as well as how they can be applied. I think it is important to have a great deal of patience when teaching and to always make it fun when possible. Also, I find it useful to remember that I was once learning statistics and remember the great skill of my professors and how integrative and exciting they made the process. I have taken on part of their approaches and try to use interesting examples in order to make learning statistics something to be excited for.
