I believe anyone can teach a subject, having enough knowledge of a subject allows one to pass it on. However, I feel what many teachers do not do is teach students how to learn. It is in my belief that teaching students to learn enables them to think independently allowing them to become more creative rather than repetitive. During my year as a senior accountant at a public accounting firm, I found that I really enjoyed mentoring the staff accountants I had working for me. I found that the easiest way of learning something new was by actually going ahead and trying it first. However, the theory behind the problems matters just as much as the end result.
