A Little Bit About Me...

As a student at Eastern Illinois University (EIU) I majored in Accounting and minored in Chemistry and Pre-medicine. This path provided me with a well rounded education, which required me to take many courses in Chemistry, Physics, Math, Biological Sciences, Accounting, Tax, etc. As a student at EIU I was a Lord scholar graduating Summa Cum Laude with an accumulated GPA of 3.94/4.00. When I completed my masters degree my family and I moved to the Saint Louis area where I worked as a CPA and taught accounting and individual income tax at Southwestern Illinois College and Saint Louis University. As an undergraduate I majored in English and also completed the secondary education program. I completed my student teaching assignment at a local high school in Colorado Springs and taught remedial English to students who had failed the class at least once prior. I then went to graduate school and earned my MA in English and entered the corporate world of education and training.
