My comments on tutoring Chinese : I am a native Cantonese speaker and attended a Chinese school from age 4 to 14 whose curriculum emphasized in traditional Chinese language, e.g. Confucianism, Menjianism, Liji, Analects and other traditional Chinese philosophers, Chinese history, Calligraphy.
