One of the things I enjoy more than anything is helping someone to understand not only the specific principals of the subject matter, but the WHYS and WHEREFORES so that as that student encounters real world examples he/she will quickly be able to adapt and be successful. I am a patient teacher who "has been there" and wants to help anyone I can. I have been working as a company CFO and VP Finance in excess of 40 years. I'm am a very personal and creative person thats wants everyone to succeed in their academics. While studying for my undergrad in economics I found a passion in helping others succeed as I was. I often held study sessions with groups ranging from 2- 10 people at least twice a week. When during these sessions if an individual felt lost, I would often meet with them at a later date to coach them separately. I received a technology degree in 1975. Several years later I returned to college to persue a Physics/Mechanical Engineering Degree from SUNY New Paltz and RPI.
