A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching philosophy and style is founded upon the belief that all children are brilliant and can succeed. My approach to teaching is highly individualized and targeted to meet a student's specific needs. If your child is struggling, I believe in figuring out the root of the problem, boredom, trouble reading or note-taking, learning style, and then finding strategies that address that difficulty directly. In teaching, I am patient, motivated, and fun. I like to make whatever I'm teaching come alive for the student. I want my students to understand that learning is a life-long process where they can explore the world; not something they are forced to do, but something that they get to do.
