As an undergraduate student, I volunteered as a Peer Mentor in order to help new students become accustomed to their classes. I also worked as a Peer Mentor for students who were struggling with their grades. Peer Mentors are carefully selected by Rochester Institute of Technology through a detailed application process. I volunteered as an English tutor, as well as a proofreader of essays, research papers, and projects. I have had the opportunity to work at a daycare for several years with children ranging from 6 weeks of age to 12 years.
