I love working with children. I am mainly in the Library however, I work with students on a one to one basis. I cater my teaching style to the indivual students (I work with several). I am patient and considerate because I know that what might work for one student might not necessarily work for the next. I cater to the students needs because I am here for the child's success. A Little Bit About Me...

My educational experience includes that of a Master’s Degree in Business Administrator with a Bachelor Degree in Accountancy. During my years in college, I volunteered regular to tutor students who needed additional help due to the complexity of the subject matter, physical disabilities and/or mental disabilities. In my high school years, I graduated Valedictorian from Heritage Academy and took several AP courses in my senior year such as Calculus, Physics and English. During my down time, I volunteered at local children houses with tutoring activities.
I worked in the private sector for six years which brings great experience in my style to real life perspectives. I have served as a substitute teacher in Hayward, CA for 1 1/2 years. I worked as a tutor for Learning & Loving It in San Jose, CA for 3 years. I served as a tutor and teacher of adult education in Loganville, GA for 1 year. I am currently on the substitute teacher roster for the Vicksburg School District, and I have been so for two years.
I first introduce myself and get to know a little about the student I am tutoring. Then, I establish a baseline of what they have learned so that I can direct my attention to their strengths and weaknesses. Finally, I get into the material with the student and show them how and why the material is important and applicable in the world in which we live.
