I have worked with different levels of mental health and emotional maturity for several years. I have spent much of my spare time working within the community at youth centers, soup kitchens and veteran administration homes. I feel that working with many different types and levels of human functioning has enabled me to be more able to adjust my teaching and assisting styles to better serve my community.
Each person learns at an individual pace. I use the Gardner system of multiple intelligences to facilitate individual learning style. I do not believe something is impossible to learn, or unteachable. Patience is a moral and ethic rule with my personal professional style.

A Little Bit About Me...

I love teaching and tutoring children of all ages. Although I have only formally been tutoring for about 6 years, I was a tutor all through my childhood helping other children learn when I finished with my classwork. Since first grade I have always wanted to be a teacher, although my brain tried to steer me in a different direction in college. Yet, my heart brought me back to teaching. I am very considerate of every child no matter their weakness; however I play close attention to their strenghts and play off those strenghts in the classroom.
