I have earned two bachelor degrees, one in Information Systems and Business Processes and the other in Communications and Media. I believe that education is very important and am now continuing my education, I plan to receive my Masters in Higher Education in May 2012. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been teaching music - guitar, piano, bass and music theory all of my life, but most recently contiguously for the last seven years. I have a BA in Sociology from Clemson University. I was always good in math, science and history in addition to social sciences and music.
I am currently teaching mostly guitar and bass. I encourage the students, sometimes acting as their cheerleader as I take each student through a custom talored series of learning about their instrument as well as learning songs that are appropriate for their level and interest.

I do not have current experience teaching or tutoring for pay. I did some tutoring of high school students and fellow classmates while I was in college. Since then, I have been the "go-to" person in my family for help with math and science. I tutored one of my sisters in her classes at St Charles Community College. She graduated with an Associates degree in AutoCAD last year. I helped her with all her cad, math, physics, and engineering classes. From 2002 thru 2008, I tutored one of my nieces through her junior high and high school math and science classes. I feel there is a need for better understanding of math by students and feel I have a great deal to offer in this area. My 20 years plus experience in manufacturing and engineering that gives me insight into the mathematics that students will need in their careers.
