My comments on tutoring Elementary : I was a elementary special education teacher for 10 years. I helped my students in all subject areas to be successful and find their individual learning style.

I believe my patience and creativity allows children to feel comfortable with their own learning needs. I work with them and help them find their unique learning style. We then build on that style to build their confidence and ability. All children can learn once we find their unique learning "channel".
I have been a Special Education Teacher for 15 years and an administrator for 5 years. I have taught at both the elementary, intermediate and high school levels. I have worked with students who have been severely cognitively disabled and those that have had multiple attention and behavioral concerns. I am very patient and have been able to create systems to provide structure to keep kids on track. I always want children to know what to expect and have a structure in which to be successful.

Making A Difference

In May 2012, I received my bachelors degree in English with a Literature Emphasis and a minor in Writing. I graduated with a 3.6 g.p.a. (Cum Laude Honors.) A Little Bit About Me...

I went to Eastern Illinois University for a degree in elementary education with a focus on middle school math and science. Math and Science have always come easy to me and I have done some tutoring previously in these areas. I worked at a school all through college running the after school program where one of my tasks was assisting the students with their homework.
