A Little Bit About Me...

I received a BS degree in chemistry and a minor in applied biology. My original thought was to attend medical school (I even took the MCAT), but decided to persue a PhD in inorganic chemistry instead. I have extensive experience in working with students. I worked as an organic chemistry lab assistant as an undergraduate. During graudate school, I taught both general and analytical chemistry. I am currently teaching chemistry classes at Terra State Community College.

I am a person who has spent his undergraduate years majoring in Chemistry, with Physics and Math. Thereafter, I switched my major to Biology because I wanted to do Brain Research and to do such research one has to have an interdisciplinary background. Currently, I am a PhD student majoring in Neurosciences. After my undergraduate education, I went to teach in a boarding school. I taught all science courses to students from grade 8 until grade 11. Each of those grades comprised of approximately 30 students. The kids loved me so much that they wanted to hire me for another semester but i had to go to graduate school. A Little Bit About Me...

I am 21 years, graduating Alpha Chi in May of 2009 with a bachelors in science. I have great passion for science and have excellent communication skills with students my age and higher. Since my freshman year I have tutored students in math, sociology, biology and environmental science.
Teaching is my favorite part about being a biologist, i have help many students who are off to medical school, pharmacy school and biotechnology in fall 2009. I have been tutoring for four years now and I now that I am the right person to help educate my fellow peers into making it in life.
