I graduated high school in 2010 with a 3.8 GPA. I excelled in every aspect except math. I graduated the University of Southern Mississippi in 2014 with a 3.8 GPA. I have a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minors in Spanish. I have held several jobs. Most of them have been in sales. I believe that activities for my classes should be student centered, authentic and focused on individual learning styles. I attempt to create an accepting environment and choose activities that connect learning to something my students know or value. I evaluate the progress of my students with varied types of ongoing positive evaluation and I integrate technology into class activities. I enjoy an active, energetic classroom much more than a sedate, quiet setting.
My professional experience has been divided almost equally between teaching and administrative jobs.
