As an active researching in neuroliguistics and learning disabilities, I believe that all children, independent of disabilty, should have equal access to an education. I am currently a special education elementary resource teacher. I have a BA in Psychology and BS in Child Learning and development. I am a graduate student seeking a MS in Appllied Cogniton and Neuroscience and MAT in Science Education. As an undergraduate I tutored at risk middle and high school students for DISD as well as SAT prep for KAPLAN. In teaching children with learning disorders I ensure that all lessons are hands-on and learner centered. I am very patient and like to have fun with my students. My lessons are geared to ensure that all students have basic foundations to learn the essential skills needed to succeed. I also provide lessons that are multi- module so that all the senses are engaged during the lessons
