I like teaching by doing. I believe it helps the student when they can see what they are learning put into use. I am very patient and do no mind repeating things or explaining them in another way that the student understands. In my Spanish classes, I would often lead study groups of several students.

I primarily use a question-and-answer technique. I am very adept at identifying when a student's understanding of a subject is not where it should be. I'm also an expert in using examples to explain a point. Especially when explaining technical things I can use non-technical examples to offer enlightenment. During my time at the University of Minnesota, I have been employed at several different tutoring organizations. First I worked with K through 6th grade age children at Village Parks. While there my focus was to educate students in different cultures and languages, through games and physical activities.
